We are a cultural association

Team

Yvonne Amann is the mastermind behind the cultural association. She loves country life and creative people. She also firmly believes that good design – right after good music – can save the world.

Jörg Amann prefers to work with heavy equipment with the old buildings owing their functionality and modern comforts to his efforts. He renovates the houses and generally makes the impossible possible. With his two friends Mauro Veglio and Gianfranco Alessandria, he has replanted the vineyards around the Bocciarda and tasted each vintage extensively.

Tuomo Nurminen is the good spirit of the Serafina houses. With his Nordic charm, he fits perfectly into the somewhat austere surroundings, which you only fall in love with at second glance. He takes care of the houses, gardens and cats and is the first point of contact for all our guests concerns.

Dominik Weigand studied viticulture and enology at BOKU Vienna. After years in Austria and New Zealand, he now lives and works in Piedmont. Besides his tasks in the vineyards and in the cellar of Mauro Veglio, he vinifies Pino Nero, Riesling and Barbera for SerafinaQuota. He also produces his own Barolo.

Fabian Wittmann is a designer and creator. Besides his passion for graphic and mediadesign, he is addicted to the craft of printing. He completed his Piedmont beginner’s course in 2018 together with his wife Ulla as Artists in Residence. At the time, they had to take along a lot of excess baggage: the 250kg hand-printing platen had to go to Italy, too, of course. The crucible now stands in the in-house printing workshop, which is supervised by Fabian.

Johanna Barberi not only has a passion for Italian food and good wine, but also for the wide world of online marketing, from social media to SEO. Her favourite studio subject was (what else) wine marketing. She helps to make sure that you can always access the latest SerafinaQuota news on our site and get our wine delivered to your door.
