We’re going to Italy.

 

An invitation to a working residence, where we do what

we love. Everyone’s enthusiastic. A suitcase full of paper,

a computer, beachwear.

 

We’re a family. Mother, father, two daughters, 7 and 10.

Viennese. Designers. Artists. School girls. We’re analogue

and digital. Our intention is to work together, discover new surfaces to dance on. We have respect and we’re happy.

In the car. Heading south. Parliamo italiano.

 

 

DO WHAT YOU LOVE

 

We move into the studio. There’s space for everyone.

We open the door, introduce ourselves. Feed the cats,

find our place.

 

We meet people, all the doors are open.

There’s love for the place, the wine. We taste and savor.

We’re comfortable.

 

First steps. Chaos. An attempt at order. We sketch. Think.

Try. Everyone’s working.

 

A hot summer, full of lightness, a glass of wine in one hand,

a pen in the other. First endeavors. Always together.

Meetings. Parties. Working late. New friendships.

Here, and there. And back to the beginning.

We’re trying something new.

She works on her computer, likes intelligent concepts and concentrates on sustainable design. She’s never far from her erasers, pens and scraps of paper. This and that. Inspired by daily life, people and her family. Happily works alone and with others. I LOVE WHAT I DO!
