Gorzegno is located in the heart of the Langhe, in the Bormida valley.

From the Middle Ages to the 18th century; the history of Gorzegno is intertwined with that of the Marquise Del Cartoret. A testament to this noble family’s presence is the charming castle, which stands isolated on a hill on the village’s edge. Although partially dilapidated, it was inhabited until 1860.

Next to the castle stands the chapel of San Martino, which was part of the grandiose complex of buildings. The unique building with the special Greek cross-system was built in 1587 and has only recently been restored.

A wonderful place, which the leaders of the municipality of Gorzegno have generously left to us for two days ‘Art Wine Music’.
